Also to one of the comments in this thread "It makes too much sense...". I fully agree with what you say about USCIS's loosing money. However, this suggestion will put them on the spot. At least they have to answer about why they are not willing to do so in case they say "no" (Obviously, they will not be able to say , they loose money).

yep..very few care about EB, its all EB2 these days, one of the reasons i am very close to giving up, difficult to convince people these days. I am guessing that most EB3 I's have simply given up or have been bulldozed aside. We know for a fact that there are thousands in a similar situation, but they dont seem/want or care to voice their opinions.
I see that the above discussion keeps on going on about EB-2 only. Doesn't anyone at IV care about EB-3 I also . I am sure there are a few EB-3 I people at IV who are suffering from retrogression , myself included.

3. my employer did not file for GC because layoffs couple of years back. >> general public are culprit. they caused our employer to get loss.
4.other employers filed GC for other people. >> other employers are culprit. they filed GC to retain their employers.
5.EB2 category : if they do not exist, I would have got spillover visas.
6.EB1 employers : employers are filing in EB1 category for the same skill set as mine

I can understand the frustration of long wait for GC. The fight is for immigrant and non immigrant visas. Everyone(individuals like you and me), desi employers, desi MNCs, american companies wants to play by rules. The system is not fair. thats the reality.

Guys - Feel free to agree or disagree its just one opnion...
I think the priority should be
1. Get country quota out
2. Get Pending EADs sorted per this threads idea
3. Get ammendment to let I485 filing be done after labor been pending for say 6 months...

What I was saying is that if we take the majority of the posters who have responded / posted in this thread, we are seeing an overwhelming majoiry who support and /or sympathize with the pregnant girl. Can you tell exact wording you used in the letter of completion. I would assume that you need to have following statement in the letter.
"xxxxx has completed all the degree requirements"
instead of just having "would be graduating"
Do you happen to know anyone who has been granted visa with this document saying that the student has completed all the degree requirements? Also, if I get another document from my University can I add it to the file I have already submitted to immigration?

The issue is something else.
In order to contribute even $10, you need to:
1) be convinced about the cause of IV
2) be convinced this organization means business!
3) give up the "penny wise pound foolish" attitude
(1) This should be easy for those who were unable to file their AOS applications in July/August 2007, because one of IV's primary goals (abolish retrogression) should then be your goal.
This is also easy for those who filed their AOS, if only they realize that "working on AC21/EAD" is not as much fun as it seems, you really need the Green Card to live and work the way you want!
(2) is a proven fact, and most of us are already enjoying the benefits of this!
(3) Finally, people feel overwhelmed by the thought of donating $50 or $100 to IV but they are happy to spend much more on gasoline, phone-calls, and drinks. You make no difference to your quality of life when you spend $50 on gas and $100 on food when you go sight seeing on a weekend. But when you donate that money to IV, you are supporting the one and only grass roots organization that means business when it comes to fighting for your own quality of life!
It's like investing in a "credit score" monitoring product for a year before you actually apply for a loan!
If that analogy makes sense, please please realize you need a similar strategy for your green card, and contribute to IV.

I am going to re-iterate, for I firmly believe I owe my ability to file AOS to this organization!
If you too saved thousands of dollars owing to the VB reversal... this is the least you can and should do to help yourself to a GC, a few years sooner than otherwise.
Contribute funds now to IV!
